My partner and I moved to Montreal during the pandemic from out of the province and could not visit an apartment in person before signing a lease. We chose Douek because they seemed like the most reliable landlords we met with virtually, after reading positive reviews and seeing how professionally their business was managed we decided they were the right option for us. We were not disappointed. David and his team have been highly responsive, professional, kind, and easygoing throughout our lease. The property we rent in Mile-End is well-maintained, quiet, and has a stunning view of Mont-Royal. It's also steps away from countless bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. David and his team have been accommodating every time we have asked for anything. I would highly recommend a Douek apartment to anyone looking!

I lived in one of Douek Apartments' buildings for 3 years consecutively whilst studying in Montreal. David and Gary are attentive and responsive. I couldn't have asked for a better apartment living experience as a student!

I'm tenant of 3871 Beaubien E, a building administrated by Douek Apartments. The building is very well maintained in the heart of a beautiful neighbourhood and with an affordable rent. Regarding the Douek administration, it has always been very professional, kind and quick. In sum, I strongly recommend Douek Apartments if you are looking for a place to live in Montreal.

We just got Montreal trying to find the perfect apartment for our family. We visited the apartment and we loved it, the place is in excellent conditions, beautiful and well maintained. But the most important thing and what I really appreciate the most is the high quality costumer service. David is really kind, helpful and always trying to do the best he can. My partner and I are in our 6th year at living in a Douek apartment (4278 rue Sherbrooke o), and I can't say enough good things about our experience. The apartments themselves are lovely - a perfect mix of the original charm of the old building with new functional, modern updates. But most importantly is how well-managed these apartments are - the owner, David, is extremely professional, kind, helpful, fair and very responsive, as is the rest of management. Our 6 years have been extremely smooth and any issues have been dealt with really quickly and effectively. As another reviewer pointed out, they really go above and beyond. Would highly recommend renting with Douek!

We have lived in the same Douek apartment for just over 5 years. We have had an amazing experience. David the property owner is responsive, friendly, respectful and fair. The property is well maintained and our unit has a perfect balance of high end updates and original finishes for charm. Any issues or questions are promptly dealt with. Beautiful building for students (130 Rue Prince Arthur). The apartments are super charming and cozy. Building facilities are in great condition and management is extremely responsive. Kitchen and bathroom are very well renovated, and I must say the granite counter space and appliances are pulled straight out of an apartment catalog book. Great apartments for the summer to experience the beautiful sun while still having a great breeze and still be able to stay super warm in the winters. By far one of the greatest apartment buildings I've rented in and don't think I'll find anything that'll compare.

Lived in 2 different buildings over the years (as a student at 130 Prince Arthur and later in the Mile End). Can honestly say that the the apartments are beautiful and David and team are top notch. Sadly, I’ll be moving out of town for work. But definitely recommend Douek!!

As a real estate broker, I often work with this company for rentals. The buildings and apartments are very clean and tastefully renovated. The managers are respectful towards their tenants, always available for them, and are committed to giving them the best service and the best experience.

This building has been beautifully renovated and yet still maintains its old traditional charm. Management is easy to contact. Its quiet AND located in Monkland Village which is so exciting with great restaurants, stores, and gorgeous surrounding neighborhoods.

130 Rue Prince Arthur is a gem for students! Lived there for almost 2 years and have nothing but good things to say. We viewed the apartments during COVID and the landlord (David) was very thorough in showing us the space (rooms, storage room, laundry, etc.). They even accommodated us in having a second viewing where a friend went to look at the place for us. The apartments themselves are kept in great condition (renovated with original features from when the building was built). The unit we were in didn't have a balcony but we still got a bunch of light. Also, our kitchen and living room were well-equipped in size to host friends for dinner and movie nights. The management of the building is also great! David and Aaron (building manager) have always been easy to reach if we needed any help and they've always been super quick to fix anything (which didn't happen very often). Overall, they are great at communicating with their tenants about what is going on (deadlines, work being done in common areas, etc.). Location-wise, the building is close to campus (McGill) without being in the thick of the student area. We have many surrounding options for grocery stores, clothes shopping, restaurants, clubs, and bars. Overall, I had a great experience with 130 Prince Arthur and Douek Industries!

We lived at 6101 Monkland between April and November. Lovely and fully equipped apartment, amazing location on Monkland. Get ready to spend all your money at the cafe and bakery across the street and many great restaurants that Monkland has to offer. The apartment was pet friendly which is a huge plus and heating included in our rent. Plenty of parking on the corner street Hingston. The landlord David is extremely kind and accommodating. He always responded to our texts quickly and helped us out with finding a new lessee to transfer our lease over (as we had stayed less than a year). The building is well maintained and regularly cleaned. The neighbours are very quiet too. We had a lovely experience here and will miss it!

We’ve had a great experience! We’ve loved the house we rented in Westmount for the past 2 years. David & Aaron are very responsive and reliably come through whenever you need help. Above all else, they’re also a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend renting from them.
