In 1998 we entered the multi-residential market with our first acquisition, 3871 Rue Beaubien Est. in Rosemont (Pictured).

We were first and foremost a textile distributor known as Douek Textiles Inc. We were based in NYC as well as Montreal and imported textiles then distributed to clothing manufacturers.

As the Chabanel "schmatta" business started to slow down we transitioned fully into property investment and management. Today, Douek Industries (Canada) inc., informally known as Douek Apartments, manages 20 properties in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. Our philosophy is to provide unique, beautifully renovated apartments in prime locations.

We are known for our hands-on approach to building management and extreme attention to detail.

It's not uncommon to see David, president, driving building-to-building in the summer making sure all the flowers have enough water.
